Reflecting upon its 150 year history, Burger has developed a new and amazing 42-metre motor yacht Liberty design, celebrating its legacy of designing as well as building some of the world’s most outstanding yachts. The new Liberty yacht design is called ‘Liberty’ to represent the freedom from restrictions one enjoys while aboard a Burger built vessel.
Taking a sophisticated design approach, the Burger team, in collaboration with Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects Ltd., created superyacht Liberty as the ultimate yacht. At 138′ (42m), she provides everything the active family could want including formal and informal living spaces, exceptional exterior areas for entertaining and easy access to the water for swimming and water sports enjoyment.
Liberty yacht’s exterior styling sends a clear message to the world; Burger builds yachts of all styles to suit the specific tastes of each individual client. Contemporary by design, her exterior lines, interior living spaces and overall attention to detail reflect Burger’s vision of the yachting family lifestyle.
To meet the requirements of today’s yachting enthusiast, strategically planned design elements have been incorporated throughout. Liberty yacht’s transforming swim platform with generous steps permits easy access to the sea while her dramatic outdoor areas allow guests to relax in private or mingle with friends.
Luxury yacht Liberty’s interior design showcases Burger’s extraordinary talents. The large main salon and dining area can be easily transformed into a lavish indoor/outdoor area by simply opening the port and starboard double sliding doors and the aft curved sliders. The luxurious full beam main deck owner’s stateroom includes a large lounge/office area, his and hers en suite baths and generous closets.
The main entry foyer features double curved open staircases, one leading to the lower guest accommodations and the other to the upper deck. The guest accommodations consist of four fully appointed staterooms with en suite baths. The upper deck includes a sky lounge which opens to a private deck aft, a captain’s stateroom and Liberty’s command center. The galley is designed for efficient use and provides ample room for conversing and relaxation.
The crew area includes accommodations for up to six crew members forward. Liberty’s spacious crew lounge and well equipped laundry facility have direct access to the guest areas for ease of housekeeping. Aft of the engine room is the yacht’s tender garage which conceals her 20′ (6m) tender and various water toys. With the tender launched, the aft portion of the tender garage becomes an extension of Liberty’s swim platform.
With its history of building exceptional yachts, superyacht Liberty is sure to be a breathtaking addition to the Burger fleet.
