The well known Dutch builder, Mulder Shipyard, is enjoying a very busy period, with a number of fine yachts recently launched as well as several new ones scheduled for delivery in the near future. Moreover, the company’s extra new facility in Zoeterwoude Rijndijk will be fully operational in the next few weeks.
This site will open a new era for Mulder Shipyard, which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2013. The existing yard in Voorschoten will stay open and be used for maintenance, refit and storage of yachts up to 18 metres.
Thanks to the expansion of the new yard Mulder is able again to carry out maintenance and refit works on delivered yachts. For example, the aluminium superstructure of the Mulder 70 Wheelhouse motor yacht “June” is made with a thick layer of beautiful teak which has been completely varnished again. The engines, generator and heater have been serviced and some minor changes have been carried out.
