The 63rd Cannes Film Festival will take place in Cannes, France from 12-23 May 2010.

This yearly event in Cannes demands the attention of the Entertainment World, as the movie industry congregates on the French Riviera to watch films, secure deals, socialize and award the best films and achievements of the past year.

The formal program takes place in the “Palais des Festivals” – which is the main convention center in Cannes with several theaters that will show movies nearly non-stop for 10 days. The Palais is directly next to the Old Port of Cannes.

Motor yacht RS EDEN – 49.50m (162′ 4″)

Motor yacht RE EDEN was launched as “Janidore” in 1930, just prior to the Depression. The yacht was designed by John H. Wells and built by the Defoe Boat and Motor Works of Bay City, Michigan. RS EDEN received a complete refit in 2006 – 07 and is now available for luxury charters in the Western Mediterranean for up to 11 guests overnight and up to 75 guests for static charters.

RS EDEN has a colourful history and enjoyed a succession of owners who cruised on the yacht under a number of names along the Pacific coast, Caribbean, US East Coast and subsequently the Mediterranean. The yacht was completely rebuilt and lengthened in Miami in 1966, under the name NIKI I, following which she returned to the Mediterranean. In 1991 the yacht was renamed Fulmara. After a very successful charter career as Fulmara, she was purchased in 2005 by her current owner.

RS EDEN underwent a thorough refit with a significant interior and exterior restyling, returning the vessel to her original style of the 1930s era, with the aim of retaining as many existing details as possible reflecting the elegance of a bygone age. A clipper bow was added along with an extensive rework of her interior, superstructure and systems.

This refit included mechanical upgrades, new teak decks, extension of the sun deck; renewal of all fabrics, carpeting and flooring materials. The main saloon, dining area and upper saloon was improved with fresh decor and furniture including new plasma screens in the upper saloon and all cabins plus a new BOSE sound system though out.

M/Y PAOLYRE is a 2008 aluminium semi displacement motor yacht of 32,70m (107′ 3″) which was built by OCEA of France with an interior by Architectural DECO. The fixed sunroof covers almost the whole upper deck, which can also easily be enclosed. There are 4 large sofas, wide enough even for sunbathing and 4 dining tables that can be lowered and folded to become smaller cocktail tables.

This yacht offers exceptional panoramic views from the upper saloon, the lounge aera in the wheelhouse and the master cabin. PAOLYRE gives a feeling of being close to the water and the guests can enjoy spectacular views at anchorage and also during cruising.

PAOLYRE features an open layout; the interior is furnished with wooden floor, brown velvet upholstery for the salon area, equipped with SAT flat screen TV and Bosé hi-fi system and divided from the dining area by a large glass door. The motor yacht offers accommodation in 5 cabins for up to 10 guests, but the ideal charter party would consist of 6 adults plus 2 – 4 children.

Her master cabin is beautifully decorated in a fusion of Eastern and Western influences. The walls are covered with real bamboo. The light green bed spread of the 1.80 m wide double bed matches well the green onyx been used for the walls and the floor of the bathtub and sink area. This area is open and not separated from the master cabin making her look very wide. This impression is even underlined by the large windows in this cabin. The toilet and the shower are separated by a door. A lightening system underneath the bath tub changes colors into different moods.

Two double guest cabins (one bed 1,60 m wide, the other one 1,40 m wide) have a wooden finish and the decoration is more traditional. Both cabins have a bathroom with shower ensuite. The further two cabins are equipped with upper and lower beds and are more indicated for children. There are two separate showers for those cabins.

Motor yacht PAOLYRE is also ideal for event charters, as she has different gathering areas, all separated from each other. Her top deck is covered by a hard top and it will be easy to fully enclose it and create another large area for cocktail parties during events.
