The 41st edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival is only four weeks away and this prestigious event showcases some of this year’s stellar launches as well as new gadgets and water toys to whet appetites for the Caribbean festive season and entice visitors back to the glamorous Mediterranean next year.
Organisers have announced one of the largest selections on show, gathering together over 600 vessels from 2 to 65 metres (6.6-213 feet), 155 of which have an L.O.A. above 20 metres (65.6 feet). Sailing yachts are also well-represented at the CYF 2018 with 100 vessels from such shipyards as South African Southern Wind, Baltic Yachts and Sunreef yachts. For visitors looking for the greater stability that multi-hulls offer, there are 45 vessels comprised of both sailing yachts and motor yachts.
