Set to run in the popular French Riviera yacht charter location – Cannes from September 8 to 13, 2015, Cannes Yachting Festival represents the leading in-water boat show in Europe. This prestigious event will once again host the world’s finest yachts, including both sailing yachts and motor yachts, as well as mono and multi-hulls, varying in size between 5 to 46m.
The event will feature such outstanding worldwide premieres as the Baglietto 43m yacht, the 32m Southern Wind sailing yacht Seawave, Sacs Strider 19 tender, luxury catamaran 70 Sunreef Power (examples is charter yacht Damrak II), as well as sailing catamaran Sunreef 60 Loft (example can be luxury yacht Grace). The striking Baglietto 46m superyacht will be the largest yacht on display during the 2015 Show.
During the event, the prestigious UK builder, Princess Yachts, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the global launch of the new Princess 35 metre superyacht, unveiling the refurbished Project 31 Yacht, which originally marked the shipyard’s entrance into the luxury yacht market, as well as plenty of events and collaborations.
Cannes Yachting Festival is annually hosted by the glittering Bay of Cannes and looks set to welcome over 50,000 visitors to the show. In addition to the 550 boats and yachts from the world renowned shipyards, expected to be showcased during the Show, guests will also be able to enjoy new event, the first nautical Concours d’Élégance.
This year’s show will also feature a model of ‘La Terrasse’, where global luxury brands outside of the yachting industry will be on offer for the first time. With the launch of ‘La Terrasse’ scheduled for 2016, the Cannes Yachting Festival will confirm its position in the luxury market.
