Canada-based Brian Klassen Models have produced a 1:60 scale model of 55m/182ft Feadship superyacht CYNTHIA (ex.MADSUMMER), which was restored to as-new condition during her refit in 2018.
The custom-built model uses drawings supplied by the client as well as several photos for truly impressive up-close detail: Several components were laser cut such as the engraved wood decking. Each space mirrors the real superyacht with furniture across all decks, and details include the gym equipment to port, the stowed tender on the starboard bridge deck and a Jacuzzi with simulated water as well as a wrap-around wood cap rail.
The model now resides in her new home, while motor yacht CYNTHIA currently sails the seas in the Caribbean and Bahamas luxury yacht charter grounds, visiting natural wonders like the Pitons on St. Lucia or the Baths in Virgin Gorda amongst the British Virgin Islands.
Built-in 1995 and last refitted in 2018, luxury yacht CYNTHIA sports a classic appearance with a pure white hull and superstructure. Her top class naval architecture comes from De Voogt Naval Architects, while the interiors are the work of celebrated designer Claudette Bonville. Within, warm wooden panelling and floors are contrasted by crisp white walls and furnishing with navy accents and silvery metal detailing for contrast and texture.
The spacious surroundings offer a separate formal dining room for more intimate meals when celebrating a special occasion, an abundance of seating in the main salon and new-classical elements in the lighting and artwork for the perfect ambience day or night. Large square windows are another feature of her classic design that still allows plenty of natural light to flood the interior.
The sky lounge offers a second, more tranquil salon for cosy nights in and deep conversations while providing an easy connection outside to the grand alfresco dining area with wet bar and starboard-side lounge, all of which is sheltered by the sundeck overhang and bimini shade.
For taking in the stunning surroundings of the Turks & Caicos Islands or in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the sundeck has uninterrupted views from the sofas and sunbeds forward or the sun loungers to the aft. A raised circular Jacuzzi is also placed centrally on the aft deck, leaving the shaded amidships section for a pair of inward-facing C-shaped sofas and drinks tables.
In addition to the breath-taking onboard spaces, M/Y CYNTHIA has a large collection of water toys, including:
- 2 x Yamaha Waverunners (2018)
- 2 x Seabobs
- 2 x kayaks
- stand-up paddleboards
- water skis
- wakeboards
- snorkelling equipment
- fishing gear, and
- inflatable and towable toys
For exploring on land, there are 3 x bikes and 2 x e-bikes.
The lavish accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin.
The Master suite provides its occupants with a separate lounge/office that adds to the privacy of the bedroom, and the en-suite bathroom has a bathtub as well as a shower and his-and-her sinks.
On-hand will be the expert crew of 13, who will provide professional service throughout every charter.
