Italian Riviera-based shipyard Cerri Cantieri Navali has announced that construction has begun on the 37.3m/122ft superyacht DOM123, the first in a series of new DOM yachts.
The design by Stefano Vafiadis was created with a young and modern yacht owner in mind, motor yacht DOM123 uses sturdy bulwarks and gunwales combined with glass balustrades to the aft, and a clean contemporary white hull and superstructure.
The four decks offer guests a beach club, a flybridge with a sizeable forward Jacuzzi placed between sun pads and plenty of alfresco dining and living spaces.
The interiors also pamper guests with a generous main salon ideal for hosting more formal functions, whereas the sky lounge has a laid-back vibe and a cinema setup for unwinding with family and friends after a busy day.
The flexible accommodation layout can fit four or five staterooms to accommodate up to 12 guests. The Owner’s stateroom is placed on the main deck forward with two VIP staterooms on the lower deck as well as two doubles convertible to twins as desired. The lower deck also hosts the crew accommodation as well as the mess and laundry facilities.
The twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines at 1939 kW each allow for a top speed of 21 knots, a cruising speed of 18 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at an economical 12 knots.
