Cerri Cantiere Navali has revealed details on its latest line of 37m/121ft superyachts, named DOM 123 after Latin ‘Domus’, meaning ‘home’ and designed by Stefano Vafiadis.
Built with young and modern yacht owners in mind, the emphasis has been placed on lifestyle living with an abundance of sun bathing and dining areas.
The main deck interior provides a more formal lounge amidships and separate dining area, seating 10-12 guests. The skylounge doubles as a cinema and effortlessly opens out to connect with the upper deck aft and form on large social space.
When stationary and the beach club is deployed, guests can use the staircases to access the main deck aft. Here, guests can rest in the sunshine and the casual alfresco lounge provides two armchairs, two drinks tables and a plush inward-facing sofa. Alfresco dining is a stylish affair on the upper deck, where up to eight guests are seated around a circular table for intimate conversation over dinner, before settling into the sofas which curve around the stern. A bar on the starboard side in front of the staircase is ideally positioned to serve guests in the skylounge as well as those seated out on either of the aft decks.
A Portuguese deck in front of the helm station features a C-shaped sofa where guests can take in the forward views while using the raised table for casual alfresco meals or coffee mornings. The forward sunpads cover most of the bow and raised sides enhance the privacy and ensure that the area can also be used as sofas by the whole group.
The sundeck centrepiece is a spacious Jacuzzi, where guests can soak after a busy day with a cocktail from the bar, then dry off on the sunpads or the aft sun loungers before chatting with friends and family on the L-shaped sofa.
The lower deck stern will provide guests with a spacious beach club for relaxing beside the water, with a tender garage also on the lower deck for easy launch and retrieval of the tenders.
The layout can fit four or five cabins on the lower deck with a Master suite on the main deck, providing accommodation for 10-12 guests. The Master suitte has floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides for a brilliantly-lit interior with excellent views of the surroundings, while the lower deck has space for two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins which can be converted into doubles.
The all-aluminium semi-displacement superyacht uses a pair of MTU 16V2000M96L engines each producing 1939 kW for a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 21 knots. At economical speed, she is capable of a range of 3,000 nautical miles.
