The Ancona-based builder Cantiere delle Marche has successfully delivered the 82ft motor yacht Furst 60. The Furst 60 superyacht is constructed in steel and aluminium, built as a one-off project for an owner who wanted a yacht that was in essence an Explorer Yacht. The Furst 60’s Navy Blue hull colour and the high bow are reminiscent of a typical Nordic Tug representing overall safety, toughness as well as reliability.
CdM’s new Furst 60 superyacht boasts customized features including a Moteurs Baudouin single engine and single screw as well as the “take-me-home system” which is normally installed in commercial and fishing boats. Moteurs Baudouin’s pedigree and history is without question and appreciated by every Explorer connoisseur: with engines that are true to the original principles of heavy duty application, long life and low running costs.
Also, the client chose to have one of the guest cabins modified for cold storage/dry storage, which is a clear sign of the owner’s future cruising plans which includes time spend next winter season on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
The private ceremony for the delivery of the 82ft explorer yacht Furst 60 was held in Ancona, with selected guests. The owner asked Ennio Cecchini, CEO of Cantiere delle Marche, to open the ceremony, due to their mutual esteem and respect.
