Representing the fourth model in the yard’s Fuoriserie Fully-Custom line, VANADIS was launched and presented by the Italian shipyard CCN (Cerri Cantieri Naval) of the Baglietto group last Thursday in the presence of her proud owner. VANADIS is a displacement yacht measuring 31 metres, constructed in light alloy. The yacht’s name was inspired but eh goddess of Norse mythology, while her design was created by Guido de Groot with naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects, with technological solutions by Siemens and Schottel.
VANADIS offers a combination of a balanced architecture, elegant exterior lines with inviting interiors, the latest in technology while also being environmentally friendly and efficient. In fact, the yacht is fitted with two Schottel STP 150 FP azimuth thrusters driven by a hybrid system which includes both traditional diesel engines and an electric engine supplied by generators or batteries, ensuring low consumption and limited environmental impact, as well as increased onboard comfort thanks to reduced noise and vibrations both at anchor and when cruising.
She is fitted with two CAT C9.3 B engines powering her up to a maximum speed of 12.5 knots, while she can comfortably cruise at 8 knots in electric mode. The yacht also includes a set of AKASOL lithium-ion batteries (175 kWh) which supply most of onboard utilities, allowing to remain at anchor at zero emissions for up to 17 consecutive hours and to cruise at limited speed for up to 120 minutes, depending on the power load. For additional comfort, VANADIS also has gyroscope- and fin- anti-rolling stabilizing systems, increasing safety and stability both during cruising and when at anchor.
Accommodation comprises an owner’s stateroom and two guests suites on the lower deck. For socialising and relaxation there is the main deck saloon with a dining area and an open galley, while exterior areas include an aft deck and forward deck with additional seating areas. The flybridge has the second pilot house and a fabulous lounging area which includes sun loungers, a bar and an alfresco dining option.
