Charter a piece of world history this summer and walk the halls of the 1906 classic yacht KALIZMA, once belonging to Hollywood royalty Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, on a Western Mediterranean luxury yacht charter.
Built in 1906, she is the world’s oldest motor yacht available for charter and has survived world wars and plagues, and hosted joyous celebrations – and she’s not done yet!
A comprehensive refit in 2020 has restored her condition, blending contemporary and classic surroundings to honour her history while ensuring that she has enough new vigour for another 100 years. The cosy salon with wet bar makes a desirable den for adults and children alike, and for celebrating a special occasion the formal dining area has a grand air and an intimate setting.
The cabins are all well-proportioned with en-suite facilities comparable to modern-day motor yachts, ensuring that everyone drifts off to sleep in complete comfort throughout their stay.
Outside, the classic appearance is sure to draw attention wherever she cruises – from the beaches of the Balearic Islands to glamorous Cannes and Monaco, then on to culture-rich Malta. Guests meanwhile can take life at their leisure, sunbathing on the foredeck, dining and lounging on the main deck aft or relaxing on the upper deck sunbeds with drinks served from the wet bar.
While visiting the heart of the Western Mediterranean, guests have a great collection of water toys to get up close to the beaches and coves. The selection includes:
- 2 x Waverunners
- 1 x Seabob
- water skis
- snorkelling equipment
- Scuba diving gear (3 x sets), and
- 1 x 3-person towable sofa ride
There is room for up to 40 guests on board for dockside events and 12 guests while cruising. Overnight, the accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. Throughout the cruise, all guests will be taken care of by the professional crew of 10.
