Chef Brigitte Rosemann from superyacht FATHOM has won the 1st place at the Antigua Charter Show Concours de Chef 2010 in the Luxury Yacht Category.

After obtaining various qualifications in Culinary Arts, Wine Appreciation, Confectionary and Hospitality Practices Brigitte began her career as a Commis Chef at The ‘Rhodes in the Square’ Restaurant in London, a French influenced fine dining restaurant led by celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. Early in her career, Brigitte took on a variety of roles such as Head Chef and Executive Chef at French fusion restaurants and Wine Estates in South Africa.
After having worked at Relais Chateau 5 star Game Lodge ‘Marataba’ in South Africa, surrounded by the big 5, Brigitte found a new challenge by joining the yachting industry. Prior to working on M/Y FATHOM Brigitte was also Head Chef on board 43 meter motor yacht ALTA. Brigitte joined Yacht FATHOM in April 2008 and since then has further developed an eclectic range of cooking styles and a sharp wit which is well liked by crew and guest.”
