This is a family business that was established in 1970 by the Goldie family and other Partners. The business expanded through the 1980’s and 90’s, Julian took on the role of a Managing Partner in 1988, and purchased the other Partners’ interests in 2007.

Julian was elected to serve for one year, and has once again been elected to serve for a third year. TYHA’s work has grown from strength to strength and Julian has led the successful international ‘Gold Anchor’ and ‘Which Marina?’ campaigns in 23 countries throughout the world.
Julian continues to be very active within TYHA, as the International Director, encouraging continual growth in the membership and encouraging more international marinas to subscribe to, and benefit from the TYHA Gold Anchor Scheme, which is now in 28 countries around the world. Julian is supported by seven International Gold Anchor Assessors, as well as our Executive Administrator Libby Gordon, and TYHA’s new General Manager, Jon White.
