Sealine is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris O’Connor as its new Managing Director. This appointment follows the recent move of former MD, Steve Coultate, to take up the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Brunswick European Boat Business Unit, after having been responsible for the development Sealine over the past four years.  Chris O’Connor will report to Steve Coultate.

Chris is currently CEO of Bibby Scientific, which manufactures and distributes scientific equipment and consumables worldwide. The company has more than 900 employees across seven countries. He will join Sealine 14th June and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

Steve Coultate also pointed out that Chris O’Connor is a proven leader with a track record of growing and developing businesses. A qualified engineer with a Masters degree in Engineering from Cambridge University, he has a wide range of experience from his work at some of the UK’s top international companies, including Dyson and Andersen Consulting. His roles to date have included sales, logistics, and brand and product management. Further, Chris O’Connor is a passionate boater taking part each year in the leading French festival – the Voiles de Saint Tropez.  He is also a keen competition water-skier.
