This week saw the CIG Shipbuilding in Poland successfully deliver a hull for the 116-metre Expedition Support Vessel NB 370. The impressive hull was transported in three blocks and was towed from Poland to the Kleven Shipyard’s facility in Ulsteinvik, Norway.
Mixing up a robust, hard-working character with luxurious added extras, the voluminous 116m NB 370 by Kleven is of type MT 5006 MKII ESV, and has been specially designed for long expeditions in rough waters. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in July 2016.
CGI Shipbuilding has also announced that this is the second project for Kleven. In June 2014, they built a hull for the 107m ULYSSES (NB 366), currently being outfitted at the Stahlbau Nord Shipyard in Germany.
