TC127-3, the third hull in the Truly Classic 127 series from Hoek Design, has been launched at the Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw facilities in the Netherlands. Once completed, she will head to Turkey where she will receive an outfitting from SES Yachts.
The naval architecture uses a T-bulb keel and sleek design for efficient performance in rough and calm seas.
Unlike the first two hulls, S/Y TC127-3 will have a single deckhouse and a steering position farther aft. The fractional sail plan has been implemented for excellent performance in light winds.
TC127-3 will accommodate a maximum of six guests over three cabins: A Master suite, a double cabin and a twin cabin. There is an equal number of crew members to guests, ensuring that everyone on board receives excellent service.
The design for the 38.8m/127ft sailing yacht is based on S/Y ATALANTE, also built in the Netherlands by Claasen and launched in 2015, while the second hull in the Truly Classic series is being completed by Pendennis in England. Vitters is currently constructing another sailing yacht from Hoek Design, a 50m/164ft classic ketch that is expected to launch in 2019.
