What better way to experience the beauty of Greece than aboard the 33m motor yacht ALAYA. Built in the era defining 1960s by German shipyard Lurssen, she was converted into a stunning gentleman’s yacht in 2004. Having been meticulously maintained by her owners, in 2021 she was lavished with a contemporary refit.
Her navy hull and smart teak deck are accented with blue and white furnishings reflecting the classic colours of the Greek surroundings. The expansive foredeck makes a wonderful lounge for sun bathers, featuring a row of sun pads adjacent to the fabulous jacuzzi.
Guests can sample the flavours of Greece, cooked by the on-board chef, at one of several al fresco dining settings, which vary from sun soaked to shady depending on your preference.
One of the charms of this traditional yacht is her broad beam, providing expansive, sociable salon space and generous guest suites on the lower deck. The neutral soft furnishings and carpet create a haven away from the midday sun, but wide windows still allow light to flood in.
A five-cabin layout provides guests with contemporary, luxury accommodation that sleeps up to ten charter guests. This includes one master suite, three double cabins and one twin cabin. All staterooms benefit from the privacy of ensuite bathroom facilities.
Don’t be too lulled by her classic nature … ALAYA boasts an on-deck cinema and if you want high octane fun she also comes equipped with some of the latest water toys including jet skis, a jet board, water scooter and much more.
