Claydon Reeves Design has produced a new 70m Motor Yacht Cosmos design. The 70m Cosmos superyacht is a conversion project based on an old anchor handling vessel, that was capable of dragging, supplying and servicing oil rigs whilst staying completely safe in the worst possible conditions – a great platform to make a very high-volume superyacht. The Cosmos motor yacht by Claydon Reeves is an expedition style luxury yacht that will be capable or exploring the World’s oceans.
The Claydon Reeves 70m superyacht Cosmos will have a fully enclosed heli-garage on the aft deck capable of housing a very large helicopter on it, fully compliant with all regulations. The helicopter can be stored onboard as a result of the incredible beam on the yacht.
Due to the volume of the Cosmos superyacht it is also possible to get outside VIP cabins, double height spaces and an oversized swimming pool on the sun deck, which is not always possible due to stability reasons on some yachts.
Conversion projects are an increasingly relevant path to superyacht ownership. Superyacht conversions provide significant cost and time benefits along with a multitude of design options when approaching concepts based on existing vessels. These projects are also often made more interesting due to their previous life.
Claydon Reeves 70m Explorer yacht Cosmos provides luxury accommodation for 12 guests and space to house 21 crew making sure that the experience on board is unrivalled.
