Since her launch last month, unique Tecnomar 43.5 m (142’7″) superyacht THIS IS IT has premiered at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show where our team were delighted to be some of the first to take a look on board.
She drew crowds from the minute she arrived on the dock and is it easy to see why, given her striking profile including 600 sqm of curved glass wrapping the superstructure. Perhaps the most stunning feature is the expansive aft deck with a huge infinity pool and quirky asymmetric layout.
The asymmetric ‘curvilinear’ concept continues across the interior. Gian Marco Campanino of The Italian Sea Group said, “Our main goal was to create something that is an architectural feature on the water. Nothing is straight and nothing is as it is supposed to be. There are a lot of curves and cuts to create both a feminine and masculine design.”
She boasts a sumptuous vertical garden which spans two decks, as well as a luxurious spa situated on her upper deck with a treatment area, sauna and shower. Plus, she is equipped with all the latest toys and tender including a 15-metre Technohull chase rib, a six-metre Castoldi tender rib, Seabobs and Jet Skis.
Accommodation is across six suites with a spacious owner’s stateroom on the upper deck with a 3.3m high ceiling and organically shaped skylight which floods the space with light and gives the feeling of sleeping under the stars. Spectacular views are everywhere thanks to the panoramic terrace, just like a seaside villa. The luxurious ensuite bathroom embodies sophistication with sleek, modern fixtures that blend with the overall aesthetic of the yacht. A sauna and shower are kept private with frosted glass while twin mirrors are set at different angles giving depth the design.
Twin MTU 16V 2,00 M96L engines, generate a top speed of 19 knots, a cruising speed of 17 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots, while her hull lines are optimised to enhance hydrodynamic efficiency, significantly reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
Luxury catamaran THIS IS IT will be ready for the 2024 summer charter season in Greece and the Red Sea in winter and would make a thrilling choice for anyone looking to turn heads.
