Complete Marine Freight (CMF) have recently completed a significant project, shipping two motorboats half way across the World on a time-sensitive delivery. The boats originate from Kha Shing Enterprises, one of Taiwan’s top manufacturers of luxury vessels. CMF had responsibility for the transportation of their new motor yacht Monte Fino 76 as well as their Echo 85 superyacht from Taiwan, to the this year’s Düsseldorf Boat Show.
The yachts were loaded inside a ship bound for Rotterdam on a 11,000 mile voyage. The route passed through the notorious, pirate infested waters off the Somalian coast, before navigating the Suez Canal, to arrive on time for delivery to the show in Düsseldorf.
On arrival at Rotterdam, they were off loaded and CMF delivery skippers took the vessels up the River Rhine to the quayside at Düsseldorf, in time for the Boat Show, which started on 19th January of this year.
The Big Willi crane on the Rhine moved the boats carefully onto special trucks, which then made the final short trip to the Show – the last yachts into the Hall before the start.
CMF provided the strategy, documentation, cradles, logistics and expertise ensuring the provision of a smooth, safe, trouble free delivery service for the client.
Düsseldorf Boot Show is the largest indoor boat show. This year 1,674 exhibitors from 63 countries presented their new boat models and product innovations in 17 halls! This means that efficient and safe transportation on time is key to the success for exhibitors. Hence the selection of an experienced shipping organisation is critical to every builder.
CMF are now moving the two luxury motor yachts from the Düsseldorf Show to Rotterdam, where they are shortly loading onto a ship taking them to the Mediterranean.
