Cockwells is currently attending the 2014 Southampton Boat Show, which will last until September 21. The company is not only displaying the ever popular Duchy 27, but also their brand new 33-foot ‘Impulsive’ yacht tender, making its world debut during the event.
‘Impulsive’ superyacht tender fits into the fabulous range of custom motor launches Cockwells have already built and offers a whole new level of luxury since it has been specifically designed to meet the owner’s exact requirements and lifestyle. Only the finest materials have been used with the latest technology in order to create a comfortable and luxurious cruising environment which is well worth a look if you’re visiting the show.
For effortless and accurate control on board an advanced joystick control system has been fitted which also features an anchor mode to hold the boat within a metre of any set co-ordinate. Another USP is the very clever man-overboard system which means if you fall overboard the boat will stop. Then if you happen to drift more than 50metres from the boat it will move on its own to within 30m of you.
Down below there is a well-equipped galley and head while up in the saloon there is a digital TV on a motorised lift so it can be discreetly hidden away when not in use.
The experienced workforce at Cockwells enjoyed working with the client and they are delighted that the finished boat is beyond his expectations: “When commissioning a new boat the design brief to meet your personal needs is a very important part of the process. After our first meeting it was clear Dave Cockwell shared my vision for this new boat. To be involved in the build process and witnessing the great craftsmanship, attention to detail and fine design was really enjoyable. The outcome is beyond my expectations a classic boat with beautiful finishes but with a contemporary edge and the latest technology.” – Owner Stephen Hubbard
Visitors to the Southampton Boat Show will be able to find Cockwells in marina berths M004 and M005 where they would love to welcome you aboard both motor yachts.
