Columbus Yachts have announced the sale of the first 47m (154’2”) CROSSOVER 47 to a European client who can look forward to her delivery in 2027. The CROSSOVER 47 range combines contemporary aesthetics with practicality, creating the ultimate luxurious and functional experience. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure are from a design by Hydro Tec, based on the in-build 42m model and will feature an 8.6m beam and 3m draft.
The exterior is characterised by modern and muscular shapes including a bulbous bow which has the greatest concentration of volume – typical of explorer yachts. Every element has been designed to adapt to the needs of the owner with the stern being equipped to carry a substantial tender and having the ability to transform into a water’s edge terrace with additional fold out sections. On the sun deck, in addition to spacious sunbathing and relaxation areas, a large bar and a second swimming pool have been planned.
The interiors are by the Hot Lab studio and offer a spacious main salon with lounge area and dining setting for up to twelve. The accommodation is across the main and lower decks with a full beam main deck master and two doubles and two twins with additional pullman bunks on the lower deck. There are additional cabins or the nine crew members.
Power comes from two Caterpillar C 32 engines of 970 kW each which deliver a top speed of over 15 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots, plus a range of 5,000 miles at the economical 10 knots speed.
We will bring you more information as the build progresses towards her eventual launch and delivery in 2027. In the meantime, take a look at our website for a list of Columbus yachts currently available for charter.
