The High Commissioner of the Republic in French Polynesia has granted permission for commercial flights to resume between the United States and French Polynesia from the 15th of July 2020, making it possible for Americans to charter luxury yachts among the Tahitian Islands in the post-COVID-19 world.

Quarantine measures will be lifted, however, it is mandatory for all travellers to present proof of a negative Covid-19 test carried out within three days before international air departure, and present the receipt of health registration on the Etis.pf (Electronic Travel Information System) platform. Visitors must then self-test four days after arriving in the country.

Sailing yacht DOUCE FRANCE is the largest schooner sailing catamaran in the world at 42.2m/138.5ft, and she is just one example of the impressive luxury yachts available in the region this summer season. Explore the incredible coral atolls and glide through clear waters on a great selection of water toys, and discover remote white sand beaches to spend the day soaking up the sunshine in tranquillity. There are great shopping opportunities with unique souvenirs from local artists, and the local pearl markets have a range of colours and grades for that perfect gift or treat for yourself.

More information on destinations, activities and current travel requirements is available on the Tahiti Tourisme website.
