The Canada-based builder Kazulin Boats has launched the all composite Kavalk SportRunner 25 yacht tender. The 2013 SportRunner 25 yacht is the first Kavalk runabout since the early 80’s to be constructed completely in fiberglass.
Even though the wood deck Kavalks are desired and considered bijoux items, the all composite SportRunner 25 yacht opens the door for other demographics. Instead of the usual molded-in gelcoat non-skid method used by other manufacturers, the 2013 Kavalk SportRunner 25 features a new special material to replace the teak or mahogany as seen in the Vamp and BelMaris SportRunner series.
“For years we have been using this particular non-skid material in our cockpits” says Tony Kazulin president of Kazulin Boats and head designer. “We developed a way to use it on our decks, and that it comes in various textures and colours makes it an even more personalized boat.”
Entry into the SportRunner 25 yacht’s open cockpit is accessed via the low and wide transom swim step and sunpad. As with all Kavalks, the cockpit layouts, materials and colours are client specific as are the hull colours and engine packages. Kazulin Boats enjoys direct contact with their clients because each boat represents not only the company but the owner’s individuality.
Be it the SportRunner, or their wood deck luxury runabouts, the Kazulin characteristics of superior design, quality construction, and performance are never compromised.
