Wim van der Valk Yard in Holland has started working on the construction of the first 24m Continental Trawler Yacht, beautifully designed by Guido de Groot. The 24m Wim van der Valk Continental Trawler Yacht mixes up a round-bilged hull with semi-displacement capabilities. Her hull and superstructure will be constructed entirely in aluminum to keep her weight down.
Together with twin V8 MAN Engines of 1200HP each, the 24m Wim van der Valk Continental Trawler superyacht will reach a maximum speed of 18 knots. A 6.8 meter beam means she offers some serious interior space. Accommodations for 8 guests are offered in 4 spacious cabins with a 3-4 person crew quarter astern.
Besides having a sumptuous flybridge, the 24m Wim van der Valk Continental Trawler Yacht features an additional outdoor recreational space that can be found forward in front of the wheelhouse on the main deck. This 24 meter flybridge yacht is the first of a new series of semi-custom Continental Trawler Yachts designed by Guido de Groot that are available in different sizes.
