Construction has now begun the new superyacht Marina on Porto Arsenal which will be the largest marina in Sardinia. Porto Arsenal is a new 600 berth marina positioned on Sardinia’s Maddalena Archipelago.

The new Sardinia marina is to have dedicated superyacht moorings and berth and there will be residential, retail and commercial facilities. Marina on Porto Arsena also provides for maxi sailing yachts and racing yachts, a design hotel of 120 rooms and suites, a medical spa of 3,500 square meters, a shopping gallery of 8,000 square meters, an area of 105 residential apartments and a conference center of 1,700 square meters.
The marina of Porto Arsenal will be equipped in the most modern and environmentally friendly to accommodate boats of all sizes. In accordance with Green Style the marina development has been carefully designed to protect the local environment and is to have all the equipment necessary to support the hybrid to minimise environmental impact with a specific monitoring system. Green style is an oasis environment which determines a new lifestyle linked to radical renewal of energy patterns and consumption.
Sardinia’s Maddalena Archipelago has been a national park since 1994 and the developers say the marina will be the largest in Sardinia and will be open to visiting yachts as part of an initiative to promote eco-tourism in and outside the high season. The exact number of dedicated superyacht berths is still to be decided.
Porto Arsenal is to Have all the usual onshore superyacht facilities and businesses as well as yacht broker and yacht charter bases.
