Construction of the all-new 32-metre superyacht GLOBAL 104 is progressing well at the Cheoy Lee yard in Doumen, China. The first GLOBAL 104 yacht was successfully released from the mould and moved to the fit out hall on June 17, 2015.
The first motor yacht GLOBAL 104 is being built for a repeat client of Cheoy Lee, and since it is the first vessel in a new series, the company has manufactured a 1:1 scale mock-up to attain perfection on the first attempt.
With the first pieces of furniture already at the final stages of production, the beautiful interiors of luxury yacht GLOBAL 104, designed by Sylvia Bolton, will comfortably accommodate guests in five en-suite staterooms, including a full-beam master cabin. Moreover, there will be three crew staterooms, a country galley with informal dining for eight, and a formal dining room for ten. The upper deck will host a full-beam sky lounge opening out onto the sun deck, which will feature a formal serving bar with bar stool seating, barbeque and prep areas.
To be an agile yacht with great fuel efficiency, GLOBAL 104 superyacht will be run by twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, with a low target displacement of 110 tonnes at half load, thanks to advanced composite structural engineering by the professional team at Gurit, as well as the yard’s resin infusion moulding of the hull, deck, bulkheads, as well as soles.
