The RSY 38M EXPLORER superyacht is currently under construction and on track for delivery in May 2021. Rosetti shipyard has just revealed further information regarding the yacht’s exterior and interior design.
The superstructure is currently being built in the shipyard’s facilities in Ravenna, Italy, while more work, such as painting and fairing is planned for the beginning of 2020. The exterior design of superyacht RSY 38M EXPLORER was created by Hydro Tec.
Penned by BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design, the interior of the yacht represents a modern and fresh look, with some elements of the fine art, such a massive staircase with a three-storey sculpture. Light and dark woods are used in combination with white lacquer for creating a sophisticated look onboard.
The owners have been working closely with the design studio to create a truly custom design while incorporating some of the requirements into the layout. For example, a thorough consideration was given to creating a fantastic indoor/outdoor flow, as well as including private outside space for the owners.
The owner’s suite on the main deck includes a large walk-in wardrobe, a built-in balcony, and his and her bathrooms. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, each with ensuite facilities. A total of 10 guests are accommodated across five cabins.
Divided into a separate seating area with panoramic views and a dining area, the main deck salon is ideal for socialising, lounging and dining. One of the key features of the main deck layout is the custom 150-bottle wine cellar located between the living area and the owner’s suite.
The beach club and swim platform will offer lots of space for entertainment and socialising, while the tender will be placed on the upper deck.
With a pair of MAN D2868 LE 425 engines, the explorer will be able to reach a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.
The shipyard is also working on the 52m luxury vessel and the Tomasso Spadolini-designed 85m support vessel.
