Benetti has provided an update on the construction status of 70m/230ft superyacht FB273 ALKHOR. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure were were joined together in August at the Livorno shipyard, Italy, and once completed she is expected to launch in the summer of 2019.
Once completed, luxury yacht ALKHOR will feature 6 decks of balanced indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining and amusements: The main deck contains a large swimming pool and sunbathing areas on the bow, while the skydeck Jacuzzi offers a custom touch with a glass-bottomed Jacuzzi that lights the stairwell and lift (elevator).
The Owner’s apartment is located on the upper deck and contains a private lounge, en-suite bathroom, an office and a terrace for sweeping views of every destination while offering serenity away from the main group.
Among other facilities listed in the plans is a gym with massage table and a living area with a home-theatre setup. The main deck will have a 105m² salon and a formal dining area.
As well as an Owner’s suite, there will be 6 double cabins available on the lower deck while 9 cabins will accommodate up to 12 crew.
Twin 2,400 hp Caterpillar engines give the yacht a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
