The forward section of the PROJECT COSMOS luxury yacht hull has been captured on camera as she is taken to the Heesen shipyard.
M/Y PROJECT COSMOS (a.k.a. HULL YN 19480) was first unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019 and has recently undergone her keel-laying ceremony. She has since been described by Heesen Chief Executive Arthur Brouwer as ‘the fastest and largest aluminium yacht ever built in the world’ and one of the biggest challenges for Heesen was making 80m/262ft PROJECT COSMOS capable of a top speed of 30 knots. The exterior styling comes from British studio Winch Design and the natural interiors in pale blue contrasted by dark wenge are the work of Sinot Yacht Design.
Among her notable features is a certified foredeck helipad which doubles as an alfresco lounging area with furniture emerging from the deck. The tender garage is also situated beneath the helideck and will have a custom tender from Winch Design.
Once completed, superyacht PROJECT COSMOS will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests across six beautifully appointed en-suite cabins with a crew of up to 19 for impeccable service.
