Icon Yachts has given a preview of the ICON 280 superyacht to a select group of visitors as the hull and superstructure have been joined and work continues.
The shaping is remarkably similar to the ICON 250, a 76.2m/250ft luxury vessel designed by Tim Heywood which was originally announced as one of two projects that Icon Yachts would be working on. Images show a massive five decks of guest facilities with the main deck aft alone providing an array of sunbathing and lounging options with a seamless connection to the main salon interior.

Once completed, the ICON 280 main deck aft will be fitted with a generous swimming pool likely having an infinity edge as well as a waterfall flowing from the upper deck, as per the Tim Heywood concept design.
Due to the additional area given to the upper deck forward, this area will likely become a private terrace for a Master suite, connecting onto the spacious bow. The sundeck layout provides an interior space, resulting in a separation between the forward and aft relaxation areas.
Icon Yachts recently announced that their facilities will be expanding with a new floating dock measuring 130m/426ft to facilitate ever larger refits of superyachts up to the mega yacht category.
