Leading supplier as well as installer of well known on board entertainment systems Veritais Ltd and top lighting company Savage Marine have signed a cooperation agreement on new build and refit projects where the convergence of their respective technologies makes it a natural fit.
David Milner at Marine AV explained: “The increasing integration of on board electrical systems ranging from navigation and security to climate control, lighting and of course entertainment into single, interconnected IT systems means that companies such as Veritais and Savage Lighting find themselves increasingly working side by side. By taking it one step further and co-ordinating and sharing information and resources we can deliver faster and more cost-effective solutions to yards and owners from the outset.”
At Savage Marine we have seen dramatic changes in recent years”, added managing director Julie Clark. “The move to LED lighting has greatly expanded the options for yacht owners when it comes to lighting levels and schemes, and the scope for remote and programmable control has added a whole new IT element full of potential.
“With owners and guests now expecting to be able to monitor and change all aspects of their local environment via a single interface it makes sense to bring together a multi-disciplinary project team to create solutions and support the client without the need for multiple contacts and costly, time-consuming meetings.”
The two companies have recently completed joint AV / lighting refit projects on board a 37m Rodriquez motor yacht in the UK and the 43m Dubois sailing yacht Koo.
