The collaboration of the luxury yacht builder Oceanemo and FunAir is a step in rethinking the next generation of yachts. In the past couple of years there has been a growing demand for ultimate sports utility yachting experience. Providing luxury yacht fun has become a significant concept in attracting new and younger owners to the world of luxury yachting. Oceanemo and FunAir seem to have found a perfect solution. Together, OCEANEMO and FunAir have rendered the 33, 44 and recently launched 55 metre Sport Utility Yachts a haven for the fun, outdoor lifestyle which generation X owners crave.
The Sport Utility Yacht series by Oceanemo provide a distinctive feature of wide and open spaces on board. Their design allows to store a large amount of tenders, amenities and toys in covered and open-air areas. In fact, offering a full-beam 105 sq m hangar below the 126 sq m half-raised main deck means that Oceanemo 55 yacht has the largest storage capacity currently available on the market.
The exceptional space on board Oceanemo 55 stores an owner tender, a crew tender, two water-jets plus a helicopter or airplane with folding wings and a host of FunAir yacht slides, climbing walls, personal-water-craft docks, SUP’s and other inflatable toys. What is more, each yacht toy is designed to be folded tighter and lighter, while the patented RapidFlate technology allows to inflate them six times faster than any others on the market.
A scaled model of Oceanemo 44 metre Sport Utility Yacht will be on display in Superyacht Pavilion at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2016.
