CRN has unveiled its new expedition yacht concept ALFAROSSO, which was developed in conjunction with Francesco Paszkowski Design and comes in three lengths: 40m/131ft, 45m/147ft and 50m/164ft.
Starting with a 499 GT, the range is designed for extended voyages where guests will be spending long periods of time on board to arrive at remote destinations. On board, there are open-plan rooms and areas which would be used as technical spaces on other expedition yachts which as used to provide guests with a greater connection to the natural environment. This is further enhanced by numerous windows including floor-to-ceiling glazing for some of the rooms, plus a main deck swimming pool and extensive outdoor living spaces.
The exterior profile features teak wood decking and open-step stairs that link the decks. Steel handrails in place of classic gunwales and the modern bow are gently raked and designed for handling rough sea conditions around the world. The tenders and toys are stored within the bow, leaving clear as much deck area as possible to the aft.
