The prestigious Ancona-based Italian superyacht manufacturer, CRN, specializes in the building of steel and aluminium custom displacement yachts from 40m to 90m. The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and in order to meet, and exceed, future customer expectations, it has set itself the mission of continuous long term quality enhancement in every aspect of the construction process.
Particular emphasis is being placed on the quality of products sourced externally for incorporation into CRN yacht projects. Against this background the high quality finish, sleek modern design and engineering integrity of Rondal sliding doors attracted the attention of the CRN team. The result is an order for four Rondal Sliding Doors for a prestigious 55m CRN 134 superyacht project currently under construction at the yard.
This is Rondal’s first order from CRN and both parties agree that they see this project as the start of a long term cooperation. With significant benefits for customers as well as for CRN and Rondal, this is anticipated to be only the first of many more projects to come.
On behalf of the CRN team Bruno Piantini commented: “With its own production, its own team of engineers and a truly comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of the superyacht industry, Rondal can act as a very flexible partner in new build projects and refit projects. With such a broad experience and expertise across its product ranges, nothing is ever “too custom” for Rondal.”
Speaking on behalf of Rondal Jeroen van Deutekom added: “We are delighted to have received this order and especially to have established another working partnership in the motoryacht sector. This underlines Rondal’s capability right across the superyacht sector, from large and challenging sailing yacht projects through to the world’s finest motoryachts.”
