Italian shipyard CRN has unveiled details on one of its latest hulls under construction, the 62m/203ft custom luxury yacht M/Y 138 which features exterior styling from Omega Architects and interiors from Pulina Exclusive Interiors.
Frank Laupman, head of Omega Architects has brought his signature sporty styling to the outer appearance of M/Y 138, which uses athletic lines that run uninterrupted from bow to stern. Concept images show a generous circular Jacuzzi up on the sundeck surrounded by sunpads, while alfresco dining and lounging areas can be found on the main deck aft, upper deck aft and foredeck.
The interior layout has been designed for maximum usage of space, using alcoves in the main salon walls as book cases and filling the walls with striking monochrome artwork that fits harmoniously with the subdued earthen tones used in the furnishings and wooden panelling. The main salon provides a glamorous formal dining area forward to seat up to 14 guests, with reflective surfaces to enhance the natural light streaming in through the full-height windows as well as from the contemporary chandeliers which have neo-classical elements to add sophistication to the occasion.
The accommodation layout is believed to sleep 16 over eight en-suite cabins: The Master suite is placed on the main deck forward and enjoys full-height windows on both sides of the room, while on the lower deck there is a VIP stateroom among the several remaining guest cabins.
In addition to the CRN M/Y 138, the shipyard is also constructing three other luxury yachts: 62m/203ft CRN M/Y 137, 70m/229.6ft CRN M/Y 139 and 60m/196.6ft CRN M/Y 141.
