The Crown Estate announced last week that it will provide Scotland´s Rhu Marina with an additional round of investment to replace the wooden decked walkways, pontoons as well as fingers at the marina with more robust concrete decked equipment supplied by Scottish company, Varis Engineering.
Quay Marinas Managing Director, Simon Haigh, said ‘This is very welcome news and the improvements will massively upgrade the level of facilities at the marina and will provide a more secure environment to keep boats afloat all year round. The contract has been awarded and work will be starting shortly.’
