Italian shipyard Baglietto has announced that it has added to its books an order for a Baglietto 40m Fast displacement superyacht, which will be built out of aluminium for an American client.
To be built at the facilities in La Spezia, the exterior styling will be completed by Horacio Bozzo while the interiors will be the work of Achille Salvagni – a first time working with the shipyard for both designers. Further information on the interior layout, amenities and engines is expected at a later stage.
“Following the signature of a contract for a 54 metre yacht last summer, this is the second fully-custom project we have secured,” Michele Gavino, CEO of Baglietto stated.
“To build these new yachts, we have developed two platforms capable of meeting the requirements and performance expected by our clients, this bears witness, once more, to our shipyard’s will to keep pursuing technical innovation and developing our naval engineering capabilities,” commented Gavino
Baglietto is also working on a 43m/141ft motor yacht, a 55m/180ft T-Line luxury yacht and the second 48m/157ft hull in the T-Line series.
