The Chinese luxury yacht builder, IAG Yachts, has debuted the all-new second hull of the Primadonna Series motor yacht ‘Lady Christing’ at the recently concluded 2014 Miami Yacht Show. The event was held across Collins Avenue from the iconic Fontainebleau and Eden Roc hotels in the centre of Miami Beach.
This speculative build was named the ‘Lady Christing’ in honor to the daughter of Michael Chang, the founder and CEO of IAG Yachts. With Italian design and engineering the Lady Christing yacht stood out as one the most stylish yachts at the waterfront that boasted over 1,000 other designs from around the world.
Luxury yacht Lady Christing, the second edition of the Primadonna, arrived as deck cargo on a container ship just one week prior to the show opening. IAG’s office in Ft. Lauderdale put their team to work unwrapping the yacht and cleaning her up to show. There was an around the clock effort which only finished as the show opened.
Doug Hoogs in the Florida office said: “Although it was a hectic tie, the work was rewarding! We unwrapped layers upon layers of plastic only to reveal this virgin 2014 moder year yacht. What we found underneath was perfectly executed and quite beautiful to see and touch.”
The Show was a positive experience for the IAG Staff. They worked closely with their central agent, Joe Marino of Atlantic Yacht and Ship. As a well orchestrated team, the IAG staff and Joe’s brokers gave tours to dozens of potential buyers. Several positive leads have come out of this event which is being followed up with further discussions.
