The new Darwin 96 Explorer yacht ‘Stella di Mare’ will make her premiere at this year’s Cannes International Boat Show. The 30-metre motor yacht Stella di Mare was designed by Sergio Cutolo for Cantiere delle Marche.
The Stella di Mare yacht maintains the Darwin series features, but it differentiates from the previous models of the same line particularly for the increased onboard volumes resulting in the possibility to dedicate more spaces to the crew, to the technical areas and to the guests: the VIP cabin has now almost the same volumes of the Owner’s Cabin, the main deck is considerably extended, as well as the guest cabin and the sundeck that has been enlarged up to 50 sqm. The garage itself is 10sqm bigger than the one on the Darwin 86, and contains also 4 bikes, 2 of them electric, with their recharge battery station.
The Darwin 96 has a steel hull and a light alloy superstructure that can guarantee the maximum strength and durability, also considering the intense usage usually this kind of vessels are designed for.
Once again Sergio Cutolo is confirmed as one of the most innovative naval designer on the Italian market, able to offer always different and advanced solutions, whether it comes to design a small steel explorer, or to conceive fast and modern superyacht in aluminium; combining the most advanced technologies with an increasing great care for environmental issues. This attitude is proving to be successful, as confirmed by the well-established partnership with some of the biggest Italian shipyard, as well as the increasing number of project realised so far.
