Measuring impressive 76,60 meters in length over all, the steel-hull ice-classed mega yacht YERSIN has been successfully handed over to her new Owners. Destined for oceangoing navigation, transoceanic passages and ice exploration, expedition motor yacht YERSIN splashed at the French shipyard Piriou in January 2015. Created by Pierre Jacques Kubis Naval Design and Piriou Engineering, she is expected to be christened in Monaco this month.
Accommodation aboard displacement superyacht YERSIN is offered to 20 guests and a crew of 20 members. The vessel will be also used for research campaigns, hosting several tenders, including a cabin cruiser, two semi-rigid inflatables, a barge, as well as a seaplane.
Fitted with a diesel-electric propulsion system, the 76,60m Piriou super yacht YERSIN is expected to achieve a maximum speed of 15 knots and have an amazing range of 12,000 nautical miles.
