Mulder Shipyard has reported glowing success from 36m/118ft superyacht DELTA ONE during her sea trials following her launch in late July.
The all-aluminium motor yacht, originally known as PROJECT BN 105, has a patented FDHF hull shape that performed well on the open waters while experiencing winds of up to 49km/h. Her twin Caterpillar C18 1.150HP engines produced a top speed of 16.8 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots with an engine load of 67%.
Van Oossanen Naval Architects for naval architecture, Claydon Reeves for exterior and interior design and Vickers Studio who also worked on the interior design in conjunction with Claydon Reeves, all collaborated on the project with Mulder Shipyard, the owner and representatives as well as the crew to create a highly efficient yacht offering generous living areas: Sleeping up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms, the layout also includes an impressive tender garage for storing a Williams 625 Dieseljet tender, 2 Yamaha GP1800 jet ski’s, Seabobs and extensive windsurf-gear when not in use.
The flagship for Mulder Shipyard and the first hull in the Mulder ThirtySix line, luxury yacht DELTA ONE will make her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, running from the 27th-30th of September.
