The build of 62m superyacht PROJECT NACRE progresses as the hull and superstructure have been completed. Denison Yachting issued the update in July 2024 as the yacht remains in shed at SARP Yachts shipyard in Antalya, awaiting a client prior to outfitting.
The fast displacement hull and aluminium superstructure have been designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects with exterior styling by Hot Lab, part of the Viken Group. Built to ABS, MCA LY3 standards, she allows for sharp, slender waterlines while retaining the same interior as a traditional hull form but with increased performance and fuel efficiency.
Her streamlined design gives a masculine fluid feel and the elongated aft decks offer expansive exterior spaces. Highlights on deck include a pool surrounded by sun pads, dining and lounges. She features a volume of 1,150 GT, has an impressive range of 6,500 nm at 12 knots and can be categorised as a true global cruiser.
The interior details include an upper deck dining salon with a table for 14 guests and a lounge/ cinema to aft with sofas, bar and card table. Accommodation is for up to twelve guests in a full beam owner’s suite with his and hers ensuite bathrooms, private office and walk-in closet. Prospective owner’s will be able to choose from 3 alternative arrangements for the VIP and guest suites on the lower deck.
Denison yacht’s representative Alex G. Clarke commented: “Having been onboard multiple times, PROJECT NACRE represents an absolutely gorgeous project that can be delivered to a client within half the typical built time required for a custom 60-meter. The engineering and styling behind the project will set her apart in the ever-competitive 60-meter segment of the market, so we are excited to attract a buyer and see this project through to the end and delivery.”
Superyacht PROJECT NACRE can be completed in 24 months and new owner’s can continue to work with Hot Lab on the interior or bring in their own design team. We look forward to keeping you up to date with her continued construction journey.
