The NORDHAVN 80 motor yacht is one of the latest models from established shipyard Nordhavn and is the result of a first-time collaboration with prestigious Dutch design studio Vripack.
Founded in 1961, Vripack has a wealth of experience when it comes to naval architecture and engineering, and Nordhavn has created numerous full-displacement expedition yachts for effortless long distance cruising.
Renderings show a three-deck vessel with a raked bow and sturdy appearance with classic and military styling that lends itself to larger windows for brighter accommodation. A lower deck swim platform connects to the main deck aft sheltered by the upper deck overhang, and glass sliding doors lead into the main salon.
The upper deck aft can be used as a sky lounge or as a guest cabin, with the aft and foredeck offering plenty of room for sunbathing and alfresco dining. The sundeck above is perfectly suited to observation as the NORDHAVN 80 cruises some of the world’s remotest regions.
Inside, the inviting environment is comprised of warm tones in natural materials with family living at the heart of the design: Comfort, safety and luxury are paramount. In the sky lounge, accents in brilliant yellow and dark blue against the whites and greys produce a clean and elegant interior while emphasising the sense of light within.
The accommodation sleeps up to eight guests over four cabins and a crew of two will provide professional discreet service.
In terms of technical specs, she has a shallow draft of 2m/6.9ft and twin John Deere engines producing 375 HP each will take guests on a pleasant journey along the coasts.
