75m/246ft ICE-class expedition yacht MYSTIQUE by New York-based Gill Schmid Design is to be built on speculation by Doerries Yachts in Germany, with an estimated build time of three years.
There are a number of unique features on board, such as the enclosed helicopter hangar and an Ocean Farm, where solar panels support sustainable fish tanks and hydroponic growing facilities for true self-sufficiency while on board. There is room within the 13m/43ft beam for a food lab, where the expert chefs can experiment and show off their expertise in front of guests.
With an emphasis on transformable space, there is a helipad that can be used as a basketball court or dance floor, as well as a large beach club a submersible pool that doubles as a place to store tenders and water toys, which include sailing catamarans, Triton submarines, an Interceptor and Limousine tender as well as a dive boat.
“MYSTIQUE is for the world traveller not limited by space or location. Someone with an extreme and adventurous lifestyle, who loves to entertain new ideas, new friends and new destinations and – above all – new experiences,” commented Veronica Schmid.
The layout accommodates up to 14 guests across seven suites: One Owner’s stateroom with a private deck and six further guest suites. A crew of 25 will ensure the smooth performance and maintenance of superyacht MYSTIQUE.
Along with the more unusual on-board features, guests will find a gym and spa, a sundeck Jacuzzi and an aft deck pool as well as alfresco lounges and dining areas.
