Constructed for intrepid charter vacations around the world, the 90-foot Doggersbank expedition yacht TIVOLI is currently located at the Front Street Shipyard, undergoing refit, in order to get ready for her next charter journey. Motor Yacht TIVOLI will be available in the Caribbean from Thanksgiving through to February 2013, from where she will head down to the South Pacific, including Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, Vanuatu as well as Tuamotus Islands.
Before her departure, Tivoli’s owner wanted to make sure she is in a top condition. Front Street Shipyard were just the right choice to carry out the refit, thanks to their ability to use a TraveLift to haul the vessel, as oppose to other facilities in the area, that have marine railways. Works carried out at Front Street Shipyard include painting of the hull with a custom made ‘Tivoli Tan’ colour, raising waterline, bottom paint, boot paint, bulwarks paint, charger replacement, inverter trouble-shooting, seawater valves servicing, hydraulic cooling system service, zincs replacement, fabricating custom grey water tanks and installation, servicing the hydraulic steering and checking and servicing the rudder bearings.
