Built by the prominent Italian builder Sanlorenzo, motor yacht “Lady Cecilia” is the first SD122 series vessel successfully delivered to a customer in Hong Kong. Lady Cecilia is a spectacular 38-metre vessel built in composite, featuring a semi-displacement hull. She has crossed the ocean on board a special cargo ship.
SD122 superyacht Lady Cecilia sailed off the Port of Genoa on board a huge cargo ship, although the vessel is obviously capable of crossing the ocean autonomously. After 39 days of cruising through the Suez Canal and the Indian Ocean, with calls at Singapore and Jakarta up to China, Lady Cecilia arrived safely in Hong Kong where, thanks to imposing and precise handling operations, she was finally laid down on the water in order to reach her owner.
But luxury yacht Lady Cecilia is not the first Sanlorenzo motor yacht to land in China and in the Far East: in the early 90’s more than twenty Sanlorenzo 30-meter yachts (the legendary SL100 yacht model) have been sold and delivered in Hong Kong. Today, those made-to-measure gems – each one built according to the requests and the style of every single owner – can still be seen at the local Marina.
The arrival of Lady Cecilia yacht in Hong Kong represents another important result for the Italian shipyard in terms of sales network growth towards the Far East and the so called “emerging markets”, where Sanlorenzo has also recently sold to an Hong Kong owner a beautiful 46Steel yacht (an example can be superycht Carol). Sanlorenzo 46Steel is a 46-meter motor yacht in steel with displacement hull and three decks that will be delivered in 2014.
Below is a selection of the beautiful charter yachts built by Sanlorenzo.
