Abeking & Rasmussen have released 68.2m/223.9ft superyacht SOARING into the Baltic Sea to begin her first round of sea trials before she becomes available for Mediterranean luxury yacht charters this summer.
Professional yacht photographer DrDuu has captured her as she prepares to head off for her second sea trial on a cold and misty morning early in March.
The shipyard was responsible for her naval architecture and exterior styling, and in the video, the sunlight gleams off the two curves along the stern that drop from two decks above. The silvery-grey hull is contrasted by a white superstructure and extensive dark glazing, and the bright orange waterline draws attention to the complimentary green-tinted underwater lighting.
Across her decks, there are plenty of sunbathing areas, alfresco dining areas and places to lounge in the sunshine and shade with sweeping views of the destination, and the sundeck will be a particular favourite for having all of the aforementioned amenities plus a wet bar and Jacuzzi.
The interiors are styled by Focus Yacht Design and will awe guests and visitors with a range of earthen tones in cream leather, striated dark wood and metal that combines matte and gloss textures to great effect. The main salon is a warm and welcoming environment with sofas and armchairs forming the primary gathering spot, and the widescreen TV mounted within the dividing wall between the formal dining area is a statement piece all on its own.
One of the most indulgent areas onboard is the beach club, where guests can receive spa massage treatments in the tranquil surroundings after a workout in the connected gym. The shaded interiors are the perfect place to unwind with drinks and a good book while having the option of sunbathing on the swim platform and taking in the magnificent scenery of the Amalfi Coast or the Aeolian Islands from water level.
As an Approved Water Sports Centre, M/Y SOARING jet skis and an instructor on board, plus an enviable selection of water toys for exploring the coastline of the Balearic Islands or family fun around the Croatian beaches with the inflatable and towable toys. While in transit, guests can keep up a fitness regime in the onboard gym, which has a large selection of modern equipment.
The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. The Master suite enjoys 180° views from its position on the bridge deck, and occupants of this suite can choose to have the entire floor to themselves.
Luxury yacht SOARING will be officially launched in April 2020 before delivery to her Owner and then summer charter availability in the Mediterranean.
