In May 2011 CharterWorld published news of a new series of 20-73m Daewoo motor yachts designed by Andrea Borzelli Yacht Design and Francesco Rogantin Naval Architect & Marine Engineer. In the news piece, we published details on a 24m motor yacht, to be built in aluminium. We have now received details on a new DSME 43m motor yacht, also developed for Daewoo. This DSME 43 metre superyacht also features naval architecture and engineering by Naval Architect & Marine Engineer Francesco Rogantin.
This new 43M motor yacht, one of the whole series of design set, has been developed for Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering CO (DSME), one of the major Korean shipyards. It’s characterized by a dynamic style that plays with square angles and continuous glass surfaces which create a dialogue between interior and exterior.
Designed by Andrea Borzelli Architetto with the cooperation of Francesco Rogantin for Naval Architecture and Engineering, the yacht measuring almost 43m is available with a four or five guest cabins located on the lower deck with crew quarters in the bow area and a beach club and the garage astern.
On the Main deck, an aft relaxation area and an over 60 square meter saloon welcome the guests on board. At bow there is the master cabin boasting a large office, a walk-in closet and, if requested, a balcony on the starboard side.
Between the main saloon and the owner’s cabin there is the lobby with a large staircase and a day bathroom, plus a technical area with galley, pantry and access to the crew quarters.
Two folding balconies along the side passages are positioned at mid saloon creating a nice open-space feeling on the DSME 43m superyacht.
The Upper deck’s main characteristic is an open relaxation area forward, with sofas and sun beds beyond the wheel house. A second saloon, a day head, the captain’s cabin, a pantry area and an open aft dining area complete this deck’s features.
Finally, the 14m-long Sun deck of the New DSME 43m motor yacht by Andrea Borzelli is equipped with a Spa Pool at bow, dining tables and sun beds.
The interior style and the layout are open to the potential owners’ suggestions and needs.
