Dubois Naval Architects announced today, that the Royal Huisman built 57.5 m ketch Twizzle was voted Best Custom Yacht at the seventh Asia Boating Awards.
Sailing Yacht Twizzle was selected as the outstanding custom yacht from among nine high quality finalists created by some of the world’s leading custom shipyards and designers. She was also a finalist in the Most Innovative Yacht Design Category.
Nominations for the awards come from polling among readers of Asia-Pacific Boating, with the finalists and ultimate winners chosen by an independent judging panel of industry experts.
S/Y Twizzle was designed, inside and out, by Redman Whiteley Dixon with interior décor from Todhunter Earle Associates and naval architecture by Dubois Naval Architects. Her elegant, futuristic design reflects the parallel objectives that she should combine the comfort and amenity of a charter motor yacht with the performance and seakeeping abilities of the finest offshore sailing yachts. Her progressive design and specification presented a host of exciting engineering and build challenges for Royal Huisman, so the award is especially gratifying for the yard team, who thank the Twizzle owners for selecting their yard in Holland to realize their dream.
